Came for a family/friend gathering of 15 of us for skiing and weekend games and fun... Jims's place was clean and open lots of room for all of us if we wanted to be together or needed some space to spread out! Close to the ski resort so we could zip back and forth as needed for our ski day! Check in and out was easy and smooth.... Kudos to the cleaning crew the place was one of the cleanest we have stayed in!!!

The space was just as described. Everything was wonderfully kept and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids and I enjoyed the loft and the game room. They were both used a lot in the evenings when we were at the house.

The Lazy Horse Lodge is a beautiful home with a lot of activities for children and adults. Our dogs felt right at home. It was very homely and comfortable. Jim was a great host, responsive and local. The cookies were amazing.

This is a lovely home with a great location to the ski resort. Wonderful space that was perfect for a large family get together. The large bedrooms and separate living spaces made for a very comfortable, fun visit! Really appreciated use of the garage during the cold!

We enjoyed the wide selection of games, the comfy beds, the hot tub, the jetted tub, the view, and the prompt response to help with the pilot light. Jim responded quickly and communicated often. We had a quiet relaxing 4 days. We would love to visit again.

A Bit About Me

Your Host

I grew up in the ranching world and spent years running a ranch, where taking care of land, animals, and people was part of everyday life. That background shaped how I approach hospitality today. From running a brewery to hosting Airbnb stays, I’m hands-on, detail-focused, and take pride in doing things the right way. I believe clear communication and personal attention make all the difference, and I treat every property like it’s my own so guests feel comfortable, welcome, and well cared for. ~Jim
